Hope: though commonly used to mean a wish, for those who place their trust in jesus christ as lord and savior, hope is actually the confident expectation and belief that what has been promised by god is realized in jesus and revealed by the holy spirit. hope is not passive. it is not idle. Hope is active and alive with promise, the very promises of god, the creator of the world - of you and of me. Hope lights our path and gives us strength to persevere. hope makes all things new. hope is not a wish. hope is a promise.
